Pamela Morgan

"Pamela Morgan is a renaissance woman of Newfoundland music; performing, producing, composing, and convincing a generation who followed that there is value in tradition" -Vancouver Folk Festival, Canada.

She has to her credit six albums with Figgy Duff, (1974-1993); three duets, four solos, has produced nine others (in addition to her four solos), and appears on over 50 compilations worldwide. She has done extensive work on collecting and preserving traditional music, including two publications, and for which she was awarded an honorary doctorate from Memorial University,  

She has written and produced an original score for Shakespeare's "Tempest", an original folk opera "The Nobleman's Wedding", and is currently working on developing two projects - a musical, "OOze- A Wetland Story"; and "The White Fleet Suite", a themed multi-media composition.
